Welcome to the lab Afreen! Afreen is a Research Master's student at the Behavioural Science Institute at Radboud University. She will conduct her thesis research in the lab, with her study examining the degree to which different wealth levels lead to changes in generosity and distributive preferences. Alan served as President of the Society fo Neuroeconomics for its 17th Annual Meeting, held this year (not uncoincidentally) in Dublin. With over 280 attendees, this was one of the best attended meetings in the Society's history, with participants from 22 countries across the world. The program reflected the exciting and diverse research being conducted in the field, and Dublin's social infrastructure made for a fun time!

Alan was an invited panelist at the Breakthrough Dialogue, held every year in beautiful Sausalito, CA. this workshop is focussed on environmental issues and solutions, and Alan was speaking on a panel discussing our ability (or inability) to engage in longterm planning.

Meera joins us for the Summer for the University of Helsinki, where she is studying for her Master's in Neuroscience. She will be developing a new study in collaboration with Mirre Stallen exploring the role of intentions and outcomes on punishment and compensation behaviour. Have a good visit Meera!
