Huzefa has pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (with minor in Consumer Psychology) from Mumbai University. He is currently a research Master's student at the Behavioural Science Institute at Radboud University. He has also received the prestigious Orange Tulip Global scholarship at Radboud University based on his research portfolio and past work experience.
A behavioral science researcher by profession, Huzefa has previously held positions with multinational corporations including Haymarket Media UK, Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, Cowry Consulting, and Quantum Consumer Solutions before entering the program. He plans to continue collaborating with government bodies in order to apply behavioral science approaches to urgent issues.
His main research interest includes: influence & persuasion (self & others) in digital settings, social-averse traits, media and communication, decision-making and digital trust research (specializing in social media).
He is currently working on research aimed to investigate the influence of social comparison on social media on users' self-esteem.
