Virag Fodor

MSc Student

Virag Fodor is a second-year Cognitive Neuroscience Master's student. She is currently completing her internship in the lab. Her thesis focuses on the impact of first impressions. More specifically, she is interested in how humans combine information coming from different sources such as facial features and previous actions when making trustworthiness judgments. With this line of research, Virag hopes to understand why people are so prone to base their decisions to trust on non-relevant information such as attractiveness and ultimately find a way to aid individuals and (political) organizations to reach more optimal social decisions.

If not debugging her code at Donder's, she loves to spend her time climbing, and knitting. Her current knitting project is the perfect beanie that withstands the unpredictable Dutch weather.
