Tim Knochel

MSc Student

Tim Knöchel is an intern in our lab. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Radboud University, he is now part of the Research Master in Behavioural Science. His primary research interest is in human and artificial agent interaction, particularly human social emotions such as trust, blame and assignment of consciousness during these interactions. Beyond this core focus, he has a much wider-ranging interest in decision-making, including topics such as uncertainty and maximisation behaviour.

Tim is also part of an initiative called 'Modern Tools for Research' where he, together with a friend and fellow researcher, tries to support researchers in using modern (AI) technology to improve the quality and efficiency of their work. He is part of an international counsel discussing and trying to implement policies for the ethical use of AI in research. In his free time, Tim enjoys playing chess and doing sports.
