At the 2017 Tiber Symposium on Psychology and Economics André also presented his research, called: Facial cues influence trust decisions even when they are unlikely to signal social intentions. The DNL was represented very well!
Recently, Jeroen gave a talk about his fMRI study on Diffusion of culpability in reparations behavior at the TIBER conference of 2017. This is a symposium on Psychology and Economics located at the University of Tilburg.
It is with mixed feelings that we have to announce that Nastasia has left the lab. As of August 1st she started her PhD at the Behavioural Science Institute at the Radboud University Nijmegen to study the application of games for emotional & mental health. Although we are definitely going to miss her, we are also glad that Nastasia has finally got the opportunity to combine her passion for videogames and academic research in one fantastic position. Congratulations!
We are saddened that as of this summer Hyemi has finished her internship at the lab and will thus leave us. Fortunately, though, she has secured herself a PhD position at the University of Maastricht. We wish her success on her further academic career!
As the academic year ends we unfortunately have to say goodbye to a lot of our lovely lab members. This time Julia is leaving us as she has finished her Master's internship in our group. She will now reinforce the research section of the European Union as a Junior Policy Officer, in the Guild of Research Intensive Universities. We wish you all the best Julia!
