Linda is a PhD candidate at the Department of Marketing Management (Erasmus Center for Neuroeconomics) at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, since 2012.
She works partly in the Decision Neuroscience lab at the Donders Institute in Nijmegen, and combines behavioral experiments with neuroimaging methods. Her core research interests are in the areas of motivation and decision-making.
Within these broad domains, she has several streams of research. Her research on motivation examines the dynamics of goal progress on the motivation to obtain a reward.
In her research on decision-making, she focuses on the drivers of diversification and satiation. Using fMRI, she aims to provide a deeper understanding of the processes that underlie these different behaviors. Before becoming a PhD candidate, Linda received a BSc and a MSc (with honors) in Psychology from Leiden University.
