The Others

Inge Huijsmans finished the Research Master Behavioral Science at the Radboud University Nijmegen.

In her thesis she collaborated with Ron Dotsch to investigate the cognitive mechanisms of face categorization. During this time, she did an internship at Prof A. Todorov's lab at Princeton University.

She started working as a RA in Alan's group in 2014 and was lucky enough to start her PhD in March 2015. Currently, she aims to uncover underlying mechanisms of scarcity and their effects on every-day decision making by using fMRI.

Moreover, she is editor of the online journal In-Mind that advocates making research more accessible to a wide audience (nl.in-mind.org). When she's not figuring out the latest intricacies of science, she loves attending music festivals, concerts and having four-hour dinners.
